My name is Jim “Coco” Cocozella,  owner of Cocos Crittersitter.  Pet sitting and dog walking are what I do and while I understand the importance of internet visibility in the age of social media I am convinced that nothing replaces reputation and reliability in the pet services business.   For over 20 years I have lived and worked in the Amesbury area.   My safety record handling my clients’ pets has helped me stay competitive in a saturated market of “dog walkers”.  Affordable pricing and a commitment to catering to the real needs of your companion animals are the top reasons why I have enjoyed long-term success.

As a lifetime competitive runner and avid downhill skier I enjoy a very active outdoor lifestyle.  I’ve run the Boston Marathon five times and ski the only real downhill mountain in New Hampshire in my view (Cannon Mtn!).

Daily exercise walks with my client’s dogs are taken year round in some of the best locations in the greater Amesbury area including Merrimac, Salisbury, West Newbury and Newburyport.  Dogs love the woods and I groom trails on Conservations Lands in winter (my favorite season) that I have discovered while snowshoeing.  We go out for 45 minutes to an hour and a half in small groups.  I like to walk in a small pack (usually no more than 3 dogs) and together we enjoy the fresh air, snow and sunshine.   In summer we go to local farmlands with spots for dogs to cool off in lake and river water.   The beach at Salisbury Reservation is also a favorite place on a hot day – there’s always a nice breeze and lots of space to run and stay cool too.

Insured and bonded.
